Thursday, July 15, 2004LOCKED OUT Will the humans EVER figure it out. Today I was locked out of the room. All DAY. Where they were, I don't know. Sometimes the Edmund Human goes out for a while and comes back with food and such. The Lanna Human has been leaving for hours and hours. But usually I end out on the correct side of the door. You know, the one with my necessary box and food. Today, however was different. I was locked out. No food. No Necessary Box. No comfy bed to sleep on. No Necessary Box. Did I mention no necessary Box. I let my humans clean up after me...
Sunday, July 11, 2004Mr. & Mrs. Human are back I didn't really know what marriage was, so, while the humans were gone, I looked it up in the dictionary: Main Entry: mar·riage Pronunciation: 'mer-ij, 'ma-rij Function: noun Etymology: Middle English mariage, from Anglo-French, from marier to marry 1 a (1) : the state of being united to a person of the opposite sex as husband or wife in a consensual and contractual relationship recognized by law (2) : the state of being united to a person of the same sex in a relationship like that of a traditional marriage b : the mutual relation of married persons : WEDLOCK c : the institution whereby individuals are joined in a marriage 2 : an act of marrying or the rite by which the married status is effected; especially : the wedding ceremony and attendant festivities or formalities 3 : an intimate or close union Apparently this is only a person thing. Cats don't get married. From my understanding, some animals "mate for life," but they are usually birds (which should be eaten.) What if I wanted to get married? -- Whatever... Sorry I have been silent for a while, Mr. & Mrs. Human took my computer with them to the wedding.
